UIL Concert and Sight Reading

Thursday, April 7, 2016

WFHS auditorium

Intermediate Girls perform 9:00am (dress- blue jeans/skirts and blue choir shirts)

Advanced Girls perform 10:20am (dress- black pants/skirts and black music polos)

Advanced Boys Perform 11:40am (dress- black pants and black music polos)

Parents are welcome and encouraged to come and watch.  Please arrive early.  They shut the doors when choirs are performing, and they allow no one to exit or enter when a group is performing as to not disturb the judging process.

I also need parents who can ride the bus and chaperone the students.  We will be leaving at 8:15am and returning for lunch at 12:30pm.  I will be directing three groups and will need parents who can sit with the two groups who are not currently performing.  All parents must sign up on the district website as a volunteer to attend an event as a chaperone.  It only takes a few minutes to sign up.  Please send me an email if you are available to chaperone.

All students must be currently eligible under UIL state guidelines and passing all classes to participate.

We will miss lunch here at school, so each student needs to provide a sack lunch to be eaten when we return to school.  We will have a picnic on the lawn, so blankets or towels to sit on are encouraged.
